Data processed
In accordance with Article 13 GDPR, we process the master and contact data required to provide our services, such as first and last name, address, telephone number, email address, date and place of birth and language. Where necessary, we also process payment and payment-card data.
The data is stored and processed to provide our services and, where necessary or legally required, disclosed to third parties such as public authorities. Data is not transferred to third countries unless this is specifically explained in the section for an individual service, such as the FLY digital assistant.

Log files
Like most websites, we automatically collect certain information in log files, including IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring and exit pages, operating system, date and time and clickstream data.

SSL encryption
We use current encryption methods, such as SSL over HTTPS, to protect your data during transmission.
Contact form
If you contact us by email or through a contact form, the information you provide is processed to assign and respond to your enquiry and to handle any follow-up questions. Information other than a valid email address is optional. Once the enquiry has been completed, personal data is erased unless statutory retention duties apply.
Google Web Fonts
We use font libraries such as Google Web Fonts to display our content correctly across different browsers. Loading these libraries may establish a connection to the provider. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Maps
This website uses the Google Maps API to display geographical information. When Google Maps is used, Google may collect, process and use data concerning the use of map functions. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.
FLY digital assistant
When you use the FLY digital assistant, the questions you enter, the generated answers, the selected language and a randomly generated conversation identifier are processed. Please do not enter sensitive personal data, health data, payment data or login credentials in the chat.
The processing is used to answer questions about our tandem flights, support pre-contractual enquiries and improve our information and customer service. Depending on the content of the enquiry, the legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in fast and reliable customer service).
Chat conversations are stored for no more than 30 days in a protected area of our WordPress installation and are then erased automatically. Access is restricted to authorised administrators. Individual conversations can be erased earlier.
To generate answers, chat content is transmitted through an API to OpenAI Ireland Limited, 1st Floor, The Liffey Trust Centre, 117–126 Sheriff Street Upper, Dublin 1, D01 YC43, Ireland. Processing on servers outside the European Economic Area cannot be ruled out. Further information: OpenAI’s European privacy policy and OpenAI’s data processing addendum.
A randomly generated conversation identifier and a limited recent conversation history are stored locally in your browser to support follow-up questions. You can remove this data by deleting your browser data.
